Custom Error Pages
Understand what a Custom Error Page is, what function does it serve and how to make one.
Each time a page on your website does not load, an error message will be displayed to the site visitor. As there are different errors, there are different pages that'll show up, but what is common for all of them is that they are generic and probably will have practically nothing that is similar to the design of your site, which may be annoying for any visitor. That is the reason why website hosting providers have introduced a feature known as Custom Error Pages. For a number of different errors, visitors will see your custom made content, which could be informative or humorous, based on your preference, and that will match the design of your Internet site, so the pages shall not look like they are not part of your Internet site at all. You could use this option for a number of errors - 400 (Bad request), 401 (Unauthorized), 403 (Forbidden) and 404 (File not Found).

Custom Error Pages in Shared Web Hosting
The personalized error pages function is available with each
shared web hosting plan that we offer and you'll be able to replace all the generic pages with your own with no more than several mouse clicks in your Hepsia hosting CP. You will have to create the actual files and to upload them to your account, then to set them for a particular domain or subdomain via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP. You may do this for every single website hosted in the account independently, so that every set of custom made pages shall have identical style and design as the website it is part of. If required, you can always return back to a default page from our system or to a default Apache server page. Another way to set customized error pages is to create an .htaccess file inside the domain/subdomain root folder and to include a few lines in it. If you have not done this before, you may simply copy the needed program code from our Help article on this subject.
