We, at Site Merchants, give you complete control over your domain names’ DNS resource records. Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you will be able to modify various types of DNS records for a selected domain. These include A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT records. To set a new DNS resource record, simply pick a domain and then specify the desired value in the respective resource record field. To modify the DNS resource record – click ’Modify’; to go back to the default value – click on ’Revert’.

Through the GeoIP location tool, also available in the Custom DNS section, you’ll be able to show a certain language version of your website to people from a given location.

Via our Domain Manager, you’ll be able to easily manage heaps of domain names from one place. You’ll have access to an extensive array of DNS controls and will be able to make modifications to a lot of domains at the same time.

On top of that, if you also have a cloud hosting account with us, you will be able to administer both your domains and your websites from a single place.

When you register a new domain name, the WHOIS information pertaining to it, by rule, becomes immediately exposed to the public eye. In the Domain Manager built into your Control Panel, you’ll find a WHOIS protection functionality that will help you hide your private details by replacing them with our contact information.

The WHOIS protection functionality is available with the majority of the domain names offered on our site: .com, .info, .biz, .net, .org, .co, .co.za, .me, .tv, .pro, .cc and .we.bs.

Within the Control Panel there is a point ’n’ click domain management interface offering plenty of controls for administering several domain names simultaneously. You will be able to effortlessly set up sub–domains, redirect web sites, modify the nameservers or the WHOIS info pertaining to a domain, create custom DNS entries and even more.

Other than the standard domain controls, in the Domain Manager you will also find an option to mask your domain registration info using the ID protection service and also to protect your e–store’s monetary transactions with common or wildcard SSLs.

You will be able to order ID protection, to modify your WHOIS records, to choose whether to host the given domain name in your hosting account or not.

The Domain Manager offers you the opportunity to address a given audience on the basis of its physical whereabouts. Using the GeoIP redirection tool, you can quickly point the visitors coming from a given geographic region to a certain section of your site that targets their needs. For example, if you desire to build a French version of your web site, you can set up a subdomain fr.your–website.com and use the tool to redirect the individuals from France and from the French–speaking countries to this specific sub–domain.

The GeoIP location tool sports an easy–to–work–with interface from where you can set up a redirection with a mere click. There’s no necessity to insert any code in the .htaccess file.
